Thank You from Beyond the Lights

Kyle, Brad, and the whole Beyond the Lights crew would like to sincerely thank all the participants in this year's inaugural Golf Classic. The event was tons of fun and a huge success in raising awareness and money for our favorite charities.

Special thanks to the members of LONESTAR, our heroes, for stepping up for your friend and giving us an amazing concert under the stars that capped off a beautiful day! And thanks especially to Tim McGraw and company for all your thoughtfulness, hustle and commitment to keep our event alive with wonderful musical memories for all! We are so grateful! We'd also like to thank opening act Star DeAzlan for sharing her gorgeous voice with all of us!

We'd also like to thank our special guests, Kevin Everett, Tight End for the Buffalo Bills, who walked into the front door of the Hyatt Lost Pines, and his doctor Andrew Cappuccino, MD who helped make that possible and opened our eyes to the value and results of supporting the cause. Kevin and Andy graciously lent their support with their presence and inspired us with Kevin's journey of recovery proving that paralysis will soon be a thing of the past.

Also our warmest thanks goes to representatives of The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, including Stephanie Sayfie-Aagaard, Director of Corporate Relations & Events, who shared the inspiring story of Marc Buoniconti and the fundraising organization that bears his name, Jacqueline Tommassino, who graciously helped our staff in planning the event, and Scott Roy who all made a special trip from Miami to be with us.

Most especially, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to the passionate and inspirational Eddie Canales, his son Chris, co-founders of Gridiron Heroes, and all their supporters who keep hope alive by selflessly serving others with spinal cord injuries by improving their lives with resources, support and love.

To our Master of Ceremonies, Ed Clements, of KLBJ, we say, "we could not have done this without you." Not only did Ed inspire Kyle and Brad to create this event, but as a master auctioneer he simultaneously entertained our generous guests and encouraged all to make a difference and support our mission!

Finally, thank you to all our generous benefactors, especially Junie Johnstone, our sponsors, including the Austin American-Statesman and cocktail party musician Cheryl Murdock, celebrities, and Confidence Bay Mobile HD Edit Unit for having faith in the mission and success of our first event! Without your selflessness we couldn't "git'er done"!
